Identify Causes
Usually most of us are not aware of bad habit. We often make habit as a routine work. In addition we often fail to identify the real cause of bad habit. So it is necessary to identify the cause of bad habit and work on it. Strong mental attitude also needed to dispel bad habits. For example, want to quit smoking but we are not determined, when and how to quit.
Be Positive
After identifying the problem of bad habit you need a positive attitude. A positive thinking along with determination can remove bad habits. Don’t be impatient. Some days or some week sometimes is not enough to quit bad habit. So be positive and persistent.
Replace Your Habit
There are some easier ways to replace your bad habit. Suppose you can take stairs instead of elevator. This will help you to get some physical activities. Eating fruits and vegetables and make it as a daily routine. Make sure half of your meal covered by fruits and vegetables. You are eager to smoke then try to do some another activity like having a chewing gum or have a candy or try to engage yourself with other things.
Be family oriented
You can easily remove some bad habits by being family oriented. Try to pass time with your family when you are out of office or work. You can play with your kids or take a stroll in lawn. Try to establish a good family routine.
